Admission
Your first step to Kasumba Nursery and Primary school
We appreciate your interest in our school. Our website is a terrific way to start learning more about everything Kasumba Nursery and Primary School has to offer, and we would be glad to share our school community with you.
Your child will learn in a supportive environment at the school.
We give your child all the support they need in our nursery and primary school to grow in their abilities, talents, and personality. Our staff has received training to recognize the particular requirements of each student as they develop into adults.
We think that children should not be constrained by their age or developmental stage and should be allowed to realize their full potential. We offer a large assortment of toys available for kids in our classrooms since we also value playing.
Every day, we serve nourishing meals that satisfy their nutritional needs because we want our learners to be content and healthy while they are with us.
Admission process
The School Admissions Committee must first give its approval before allowing students to enroll in Kasumba Nursery and Primary School.Once each applicant's file is complete, the committee reviews it. Before being accepted, every applicant for a student will take part in an admissions placement interview. Each kid is given individualized attention at Kasumba Nursery and Primary School; there are no set requirements for enrollment. We enroll new students in classes where we think they will succeed the most.In general, we consider a child's age as well as how well they did on the English and Math placement examinations. We won't give a spot unless we think your child will fit in well with us and benefit from our demanding curriculum. There are no fixed criteria for admission to Kasumba Nursery and Primary School; each child is treated individually. We place new children into classes where we believe they will thrive best. Generally, we look at how old a child is as well as their performance on the English and Math placement tests. A place will only be offered if we believe we are right fit for your child and they can benefit from our rigorous curriculum.
Placement
These three criteria are used to determine placement:
- How well the kid performs on the math and English tests,
- The little child’s age
- The determination of the parent
There will also be a reading proficiency test for your child. All learners at Kasumba Nursery and Primary School must be able to read and write independently at their level by the age of six.
Admission and Pupils Needs
Kasumba Nursery and Primary School admits learners whose academic, personal, social, and emotional needs can be met by the school’s programs and services and who can be integrated into a mainstream classroom. However, admission is open to all pupils. To ascertain whether the school is capable of meeting a child’s needs, the head of admissions may employ additional screening techniques.
Children Performing Below-Standard
Learners without strong academic backgrounds will be enrolled in our KNPS SCHOLASTIC CLINIC PROGRAM. For pupils who perform below average and require assistance strengthening their academic foundation, the Scholastic Clinic is a demanding program that offers extra instruction. When parents don’t want their kids to repeat a grade or go back a level, this is a requirement. There is an additional cost for this.
