Leadership that guides our school
Kasumba Nursery and Primary School is guided by a highly committed and experienced management committee. Together, they shape the school’s strategic development plan and hold overall responsibility for the smooth running of the whole school – so your child learns in a well-led, well-planned environment.
Dr. Sarah Ssewanyana
Chairperson of our School Management Committee, Dr. Sarah Ssewanyana is a distinguished economist and Executive Director of the Economic Policy Research Centre. She holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics from the University of Sydney, an MSc in Agricultural Economics from the University of Manitoba, and an Honours degree in Statistics from Makerere University. Her leadership and research expertise help steer the school’s strategy and long-term growth.
Eng. Ssewanyana Andrew
Eng. Ssewanyana Andrew brings an engineer’s eye to the committee. He holds an MSc (Eng) in International Construction Management and Engineering from the University of Leeds, UK. He guides the school on infrastructure development and construction management – helping us build safe, well-planned facilities for our pupils.
Rev. Fr. Robert Migadde
Rev. Fr. Robert Migadde is an experienced educator who has taught Latin at Ordinary Level, French at Advanced Level, and Sacred Scripture (Old Testament) at Advanced Level. He offers valuable guidance on curriculum development and academic excellence, helping uphold high standards of teaching and learning.
Mr. Katongole Godfrey
Mr. Katongole Godfrey is a successful businessman and Senior Education Specialist with deep experience across the education sector. He combines business insight with educational know-how to help shape the school’s direction and its future.
