Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated Primary Teacher to teach Social Studies (SST) and English to Upper Primary students. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering well-structured lessons, assessing student progress, and creating a positive learning environment. This role requires a strong understanding of the Upper Primary curriculum, the ability to inspire students, and a commitment to educational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Social Studies (SST) and English for Upper Primary students.
- Develop and implement instructional materials that meet the curriculum standards and cater to various learning styles.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and support to help students achieve their full potential.
- Maintain a well-organized and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication skills in students.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to promote a cohesive educational experience.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education or Grade III, with a specialization in Social Studies and English or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Social Studies and English at the Upper Primary level.
- Strong knowledge of the Upper Primary curriculum and teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A passion for teaching and a genuine interest in student development.
- Ability to engage and motivate students to achieve their best.
- Willingness to participate in school activities and collaborate with colleagues.
