Meet the founders
The Late Prof. J.K. Ssewanyana and Dr.Sarah N. Ssewanyana laid the foundation of this School in 2006.Kasumba Nursery and Primary School is a result of hard work and dedication of these founders.
We have been dedicated to providing a quality education to all learners for over 25 years in the education field. Our school takes pride in maintaining high standards, exceptional teachers, and a diverse range of opportunities for our students.
Our school’s success is due to the strong partnership between our teachers, parents, and learners. Through this collaboration, we can provide the best possible learning experience, environment, and academic outcomes. We value feedback from our school community and make improvements based on the input we receive.
The COVID-19 pandemic presented new challenges, forcing us to adapt to a digital world. We have embraced this change and found innovative ways to engage learners both in-person and remotely. While we believe that the best place for pupils is in the classroom, we also recognize the benefits of utilizing technology to enhance teaching and learning.
Our school places a strong emphasis on values such as kindness, respect, empathy, and compassion. We believe these attributes are essential in preparing our pupils for the future and empowering them to make a positive impact on the world.
