How true is the saying “Your network is your net worth”?


“Your network is your NET WORTH.”

What an OUTDATED idea!

Here’s the problem, You might want to network with people like CEOs, celebrities, and many other well-off giants, but tell me, do they want to network with you?

I don’t think so…

And even if they did, so what?

Will they give you something? You’ll have better chances to getting something from them if you go to one of their charities.

Now, think about it — who in your current network has given you something? Anything at all? That’s what I thought…

Know this: At any level, people want to surround themselves with people of value. NOBODY wants to be around “leaches.”

So what’s the alternative? In today’s world, it’s not about who you know, but about WHO KNOWS YOU!

Stop trying so hard to grow your “network,” instead focus your efforts on building an AUDIENCE.

Listen, in today’s digital economy, ATTENTION is a form of currency, and whether you like it or not, this is not going away anytime soon.
